Makeup | Steps for a full face makeup | Makeup Steps

Here is a complete guide about basic makeup you can do for yourself and for others. Follow these steps and get a good final result.

Cleanser

Before starting makeup, it is very important to clean up your skin using a mild cleanser according to your skin type. Just take a small quantity and keep cleansing for 5 minutes.

Serum

After cleansing your face, apply any good serum with your hands and massage it for 20 seconds until fully absorbed. Let the serum sit on your face for at least 20 minutes. It is a good option to treat dryness and prepare your skin for makeup. 

Oily Skin

Oily skin people can skip this step. But if want to use serum, apply less quantity. 

Normal Skin

Normal skin should apply the serum.

Dry Skin

Dry skin people must use a serum in good quantity.

Moisturizer

After 20 minutes of applying serum, apply a good quantity of moisturizer on your skin. 

Oily Skin

For oily skin, people should apply an oil-free moisturizer in good quantity.

Normal Skin

Dry Skin

For dry skin, people should apply a good moisturizer more in quantity.

Conceal Eyes

After Moisturizer, start doing your eye makeup by applying concealer to your eyelids. Apply a small quantity and blend it using a brush. Use a concealer one shade lighter than your skin tone.

Apply Eyeshadows

Now start your eye makeup by applying the eyeshadows you want. If you want to create a simple look with only 2 colors that can suit clothes, you should apply light brown color to your outer corner and blend well. Then apply an orange type color to your eyelids. Lastly, apply a highlighter to your inner corner. Use small and soft brushes for eyeshadows. 

Apply Eyeliner

Now apply your eyeliner if you want to apply. There are many eyeliner styles for you to choose according to your choice. There are also many eyeliner types like gel eyeliner, pencil eyeliner, and liquid eyeliner. 

Mascara

In the next step, apply mascara to your eyelashes. Apply the first coat and wait for 30 seconds, then apply a second coat to give your eyelashes extra volume and thickness.

Eyebrow filling

Now fill your eyebrows using a black/brown pencil. Fill according to your brow shape. Retain your brow shape and fill only the extra empty sides you have.

Primer

Now you have to apply primer. Primer will smoothen out your skin and make it ready for foundation. Apply a fine quantity on your face with the help of your hands. 

Oily Skin

Oily skin can apply any type of primer. 

Dry Skin

For dry skin should apply gel/liquid primers. 

Color Corrector

Apply some color corrector according to your complexion. Apply under your eyes and the parts which are darker in color than other parts. It will give you good coverage for your dark areas. Apply with your hands for better results. Use stick concealer for oily skin and liquid/creamy ones for dry skin. 

Foundation

Now in this step, apply your foundation with the help of a brush and blend it using a sponge. The foundation should be according to your skin complexion. Use one lighter shade than your complexion, because most of the foundations get oxidized after some time of application. Choose a good foundation as it will give you overall look.

Oily Skin

Oily skin people should use a creamy foundation/ stick foundation for their skin.  If your foundation is too oily/liquid, mix some loose powder.

Normal Skin

Normal skin people can use any type of foundations

Dry Skin

Dry skin people should use liquid foundations. They can mix a few drops of essential oil and liquid highlighter to make their foundation glow and east blending.

Concealer

Now apply concealer on the highlighted parts of your face. Apply concealer to dark areas of your face where you want more coverage. Concealer consistency should be like your foundation. But liquid ones are preferable.

Contour

Now contour your face according to your face shape by applying brown contour under your cheekbones, jawline, and nose. It will enhance your features and gives your face a slim look. Use a creamy/stick contour for better results. Apply and blend using a sponge or brush. Apply bronzer on top of it and brush lightly

Powder

Now apply some powder on your face, especially underneath your cheekbones and eyes. Leave it on for 2 minutes and brush it off. Use a good quantity of powder, if you have oily skin. Use less quantity if you have dry skin.

Blush

Now apply blush on your cheeks with the help of a brush. Apply cream/liquid blush if you have dry skin. Apply powder blush if you have oily skin.

Highlighter

In this step apply a highlighter to highlight your features and give you a glam glow. Apply on your nose, upper cheeks, and upper lip line. Oily skin should use a powder highlighter with the help of a brush. For dry skin, use a liquid highlighter and apply it with the help of your hands.

Setting spray

Now set up your all makeup using setting spray. Spray some on your whole face and neck. It will make your makeup long-lasting and transfer-proof.

Lip liner

For the final steps, line your lips using a darker lip liner. 

Lipstick

Apply lipstick on your lips and mix your lip liner with lipstick with the help of your lips. Now you are ready.
